ISSA Cleaning Innovations

The 2018 ISSA North America show wrapped up on November 1st and the cleaning industry is still abuzz about all the new cleaning innovations that were on display. This year featured various pavilions with exhibitors focused on a different segments such as restoration and startup companies.

The ISSA Innovation Award Program highlighted and voted on the newest technology of cleaning equipment and products. Here are the products that came out on top:

EvoClean by Hyrdo Systems Co won 2018 Innovation of the Year. Hydro Systems is an independent manufacturer of proportioning and dispensing systems. EvoClean is a water-powered laundry dispenser for on-premise laundry applications that does not require squeeze tubes like typical dispensers do. This helps to greatly drive down maintenance costs. It’s also lighter and takes up less space within a laundry facility.

The KIRA B50 Intelligent Cleaning Robot by Kärcher North America was a runner up for the award. This autonomous cleaning solution makes floor cleaning easier and safer efficiently cleaning areas of up to 25,000 square feet with a full tank of water. This leaves your cleaning crew with more time to clean the more sensitive areas and get the job done faster. The KIRA B50 has four driving modes for entire areas or zone cleaning and is safe to use in a variety of situations from grocery stores to hotels.

Other runner ups include: The KOLO Smart Monitoring System by Georgia Pacific PRO, the Scotch-Brite Clean & Shine Pad by 3M and the Tork PeakServe Continuous Towel Refill and System by Essity.
