Stripping Your Floors

With Memorial day almost upon us, we should all take a moment to remember and thank those who have served so valiantly for our country. I hope you can take time to enjoy this long weekend and are able to do something special with family and friends.

This holiday also marks the beginning of summer, and the kids are getting excited for their days of freedom. With school letting out soon, it is time to get the floors stripped, cleaned and polished. If you’re new to this process or have been through it for years, I’ve put together a helpful tutorial on what’s needed and how to strip old layers of floor finish, or wax, from commercially tiled floors. The basic steps are as follows:
