These extra stiff brown poly bristles work well for moving large debris such as rocks and litter. This corn broom is great for agricultural, municipal, railroad, warehouse, and outdoor use. The 42.5" wood handle (55" overall length) is connected to a metal cap, which the bristles are riveted to after being heat sealed. Heat sealing keeps them from breaking, fraying, or shedding. A steel band is then added to help the corn broom retain its shape.
