This solenoid valve kit is manufactured for use with the Trusted Clean 'Dura 17' automatic floor scrubber. It allows for solution to flow from the solution tank to the floor for the brush/pad to come across and scrub. The solenoid comes with the electric wires to hook it up to a power source, as well as a mounting bracket.
There are two bolts on either side of the body above the brush head. They require a 3/8" Allen wrench (sometimes called a hex wrench) to remove. Once these are removed, the body will lift from the brush head, allowing you to access the solenoid valve on the back of the brush head. Once you install the new solenoid the hardest part is getting the plate to align back up with the bolt holes, but there is a sweet spot.
Maintenance Tips
Clean out the solution tanks and recovery tanks after every use.
Do not store the machine with a mixture of water and solution for any extended period of time.
