These Mytee Heatguards do a great job of protecting you and other close by objects from burns due to extremely hot quick disconnects. When hot water is delivered to the wand from the machine, those lines and quick disconnects can get extremely hot. We recommend using these protective heat wraps on machines like the Mytee® heated Tempo™ spotter, and the 2002CS heated extractor. However, they can be used with any type of heated carpet extractor or spotter, as they can be adjusted for use with 1.25", 1.5" & 2" vacuum hoses.
Each Mytee A104 Heatguard is a protective vacuum and solution hose wraps that is made from closed cell neoprene (wet-suit material) to protect you from heated solution lines and quick disconnects. These are much more efficient and reliable than your basic velcro straps. Not only do they help protect the user from burns, but they also help protect the surrounding floors and furniture from a ding or dent from a falling wand / quick disconnect. Sold in packs of 5.
