A CRB scrubber is a machine equipped with two counter-rotating brushes that scrub inwards towards each other. Their uses range from scrubbing small areas of hard floors like those found in restrooms, to scrubbing carpets with a pre-spray before a full extraction to agitate and loosen soil attached to carpet fibers.

While CRB machines are effective in recovering most of the solution laid down, they lack a vacuum motor to assist in the recovery process. Instead, the machine relies on centrifugal force from the spinning brushes to recover as much solution as possible.
